Collection Generator

The Collection Generator application generates .Net Framework source code for non-generic collections, generic collections, comparers and wrappers. The Collection Generator provides a wizard based user interface that is used to capture the relevant generator properties. The wizard has two operational modes, it can be launched by the Visual Studio add-in provided by Blayd Software or it can be launched as a standalone application. The standalone operational mode is provided for users who do not have Visual Studio installed on their machine or users who prefer to generate their source code separately from their Visual Studio sessions.

When first installed, the Collection Generator may be used in evaluation mode for a period of 14 days.

• Generate source code for non-generic collections, generic collections, comparers and wrappers in any .Net Framework language (that supports collections, indexers, etc.).
• Simple wizard based user interface that can be used as a standalone application or integrated into Visual Studio using the supplied add-in.
• Whilst running in evaluation mode the wizard is fully functional i.e. all of the wizard's functionality may be used and evaluated, however, some base class and generation property combinations are restricted to view only.

Accessing Downloads

Some of the more recent and/or popular downloads available on the site are listed on the menu on the left of this page and can, therefore, be accessed directly. All downloads are categorised and each category can be browsed by selecting the relevant category e.g. "Articles", "Products" etc from the menu. The category pages provide the title of each download together with a summary of the contents and a link to take you to the download page. To browse through all of the available downloads use the "All Categories" menu link. Within each category similar downloads are grouped together to make it easier to locate a specific download and to display other similar downloads that may also be of interest.

Downloading Articles

Some of the articles on this site are available for download, to enable them to be read or printed offline. Article downloads are available in three formats, Word 2010/2007 (.docx), Word 2003 (.doc) and Portable Document Format (.pdf). If you do not have the software required to view any of these formats, both Microsoft, for Word and Adobe, for PDF, provide free viewers that may be used to load, read and print the relevant file format.

Note: Articles in Word format, are available in either .docx or .doc format not both.
