Code Generator Terms and Conditions

The Code Generator service is intended to provide developers with .Net Framework source code that they can use in their own projects. We have, therefore, tried to impose as few restrictions as possible on the use of the source code. As we are supplying source code and we have no way of knowing how the source code is to be used we cannot provide a warranty, although we would like to stress that all of the source code has been thoroughly tested. It is assumed that the developer in possession of the source code has enough information to make an informed decision as to its fitness for the intended purpose.

Blayd Software retain the copyright and other intellectual property rights to the source code as originally generated.

Once you have the source code, you may:

  • Use the source code, as generated, in your own personal or commercial projects
  • Alter the source code, by adding, changing or removing functionality
  • Use the source code, as generated, as the basis for your own derivative work

You may not:

  • Redistribute the source code, as generated
  • Make the source code, as generated, available for download from your own or any other website
  • Make the source code, as generated, available, in any other way, for redistribution
  • Pass the source code, as generated, off as your own work

You may like to:

  • Leave the Blayd Software copyright statement in place
  • Acknowledge the contribution made by Blayd Software in any derivative work

The Code Generator Terms and Conditions apply to the developer who generated the source code and whichever of the following apply:

  • The developer's employer
  • The developer's employees
  • The developer's colleagues within their company or organization

The following limitations apply to the original source code as generated by the Blayd Software Code Generator.

Limitation of Liability

Blayd Software Limited shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the source code by the developer or any of the developer's colleagues, even if Blayd Software Limited is advised of the possibility of such damage. Blayd Software Limited will not be liable in any way whatsoever to the developer, the developer’s company or the users of any application that includes the source code.

Limitation of Use

The developer shall not redistribute, sell, rent, lease, lend, license or assign the source code as originally generated by the Blayd Software Code Generator. The develop shall not make the generated source available for download from any website and shall not pass the source code off as their own work.

Indemnity and Waiver

The developer shall indemnify and hold harmless Blayd Software Limited against any claim or damages based on the use of the source code with the developer's data, including but not limited to, legal fees, costs, damages, judgments, and reasonable expenses incurred.

No failure or delay by Blayd Software Limited in enforcing any right or remedy under these terms shall be construed as a waiver of any future or other exercise of such right or remedy by Blayd Software Limited.
