How To Locate and Retrieve a Product's Serial Number - Overview

A product's serial number may be retrieved from any of the following locations:

The "nag screen"
When running in evaluation mode a product will display a nag dialog which includes the serial number. Click the "Licensing Information" link on the first page of the dialog to switch to the page containing the serial number.
About Dialog
The product's Help-About menu option, if the product has a conventional user interface, rather than a dialog or wizard based interface. The Help-About menu option displays a product's About dialog which includes the serial number.
From Code
In products where it is appropriate to do so, a method is provided to display the product's About dialog which includes the serial number.
License Manager Console
The License Manager Console retrieves and displays a product's serial number and is also used to install a product's license key.

In all of the above, the serial number can either be noted down or copied to the clipboard - select the serial number, right click and choose "Copy" - for transfer either to the Blayd Software website, when buying a license or to another application for saving to file.
